Journey of Salvation: From Faith to Faith
Biblical salvation has never been about a short prayer and eternal life is secured. Scripture reveals that salvation is a progressive work that God does in our lives. This journey of salvation never functions within man’s efforts, but always in submission to His Word from beginning to the end. This is what Paul refers to as living by faith.
Paul tells us, as he quotes from Habbakuk, that our journey of faith is progressive, but it never operates outside of faith. Scripture doesn’t focus on the beginning of the journey, but always on the finish. Just because an individual starts the journey of salvation, the journey of faith, doesn’t mean that they will always finish the journey. From Genesis to Revelation God’s redemptive plan of salvation has always been by His grace through faith. Every step that an individual moves forward along the path of faith is a picture of His grace and salvation working in us. It’s from faith to faith, the just shall live by faith. How is your journey of salvation going?
Once saved always saved?!
Once saved always saved? Well, Yes! And No! Salvation has been taught to be a one time event upon one’s acceptance of Yeshua the Messiah as Lord and Savior. However, in this study, Alan Lee shows us that there is a Journey ahead for those who apply the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of the house.
If I am saved, can that ever be undone? No! But as I Journey, what if I need salvation again along the way? Will that salvation be made available to me? Absolutely! And in that final great day of the Lord, will I be saved again? Yes, Yes, Yes! Just keep going! Salvation is a recurring event as we Journey along through the wilderness. Put on your shoes and get ready to walk, run, and even crawl during the most difficult times in life, but always moving forward to that finish line, Yeshua’s Kingdom to come! Alan Lee sheds light on Salvation throughout the Journey ahead of us, We have ALREADY been saved, We ARE being SAVED, and we WILL be saved in that Day!
